Take the Rate My Life Quiz

The link at the bottom of the table takes you to the site so you can create your own life assessment. I'm surprised I did so well overall (I was completely honest - no exaggerated or comically-wrong answers were given). I guess things are pretty much OK.

The secret to getting a 9.1 for 'Love'? Being married to the best person in the world.

Nice.

You can all go about your business now. That is all.

I hate quizzes like this. They have certain subjective criteria that they slap onto to you.

I did this and it said that my life was below average in love and friendship. It's not. I have a lot of love in my life and I shouldn't be considered lacking in love because I don't have a partner.

Sure, it would be nice to have a partner, but I don't think that the only love worth rating is the love of a partner.

Sorry about ranting.

is it possible to do a trade of some sort? I have an abundance of 'mind, body and spirit' points, but am sadly lacking in the love dept.

I agree with you completely, Elaine.

(You certainly sound like you have a lot of love!) Just teasing.

Take no heed about what it told you. It was all lies. Except for what it told me. That was the truth.

Seriously, though - I have no doubt that these things are skewered and faulted in many ways. Shiver me timbers!

Thanks, Sheriff. There's always a lotta love in the House of BEVIS. :)

Gav, I'm happy with my Mind, Body & Spirit totals for now, but I'll let you know if I'm getting low. I'm not sure I like the idea of 'giving you some of my love', apart from in a purely platonic, blogger-to-blogger kibnf of 'respect' way.

Haha! According to some stupid internet quiz my life is better than yours. ;-p

So why do people still call me a jerk? ;-)

John B. - I dunno ... maybe it's because of the way you break the news to people that your life is better than theirs ...

Steph - Sorry to hear that. Um, ... that's all I have to say ...

I ran this a while ago. My score was similar to yours, maybe a little higher at 7.6. My love measure was in the 9.1 range too.

In-te-res-ting. I took the quiz. End result was about what I hoped for/expected. I've put it on my blog.

They asked me for advice - did that happen to anyone else?

yeah, that happened to me in the mental category.

I hope that means they thought I was smart not that they thought I was mental...

Ooh, Muppets question.

BEVIS, what do you think of the quality of the on-screen Muppett information on The Muppet Show Season One DVDs?

elaine - just shows you how well-adjusted a pirate can be.

I suppose you've got to be sharp if you're holding together a motley crew who could mutiny and make their captain walk the plank!

Whatever.

Ummm, yeah - that's what I meant. Appreciate the slightly uncomfortable offer to receive your excess (platonic)love whenever it becomes available ... we'll ignore the rumours!

Thanks everyone - I also did this thing a few months ago (whenever it was that Kranki posted about it on his blog), but I left the results sitting in draft until I wanted to post them (because I knew that one day I'd have nothing else to post about), that's all.

:)

Thanks for your question, Riss. I will answer it in due course. Thanks also for the lovely day today!

Thanks for your question too, Goggle Eyes. I guess it shows that if you get people angry enough and pervert democracy to get an unfair Bill passed by using bribery, etc, the old 'cornered rat' theory will reveal itself. I don't for a moment condone that behaviour, but I understand where their heightened feelings of injustice and fury stem from. I also feel that the misbehaving minority have (once again, as with all things) tainted the entire populous with the same brush. It's not what the rest of us are about; just like September 11 is not what all Muslims are about (or how they would behave).

So please don't feel that the violent behaviour from this weekend 'represents' all anti-VSU people.

Time will show how all university students in Australia are going to suffer as a result of this decision going through. And as a nation, we've just taken massive steps backwards.

No worries, LC. In your own time. (Or not at all, if that's what you're really saying.) Either way, please don't feel pressured by me.

No stress. :)

Glad you enjoyed last Sunday. Have a nice Christmas with the fam and we'll have you over again for something a little smaller (in terms of people, not food) in the New Year, I promise.
