You're such a nice guy, Bevis.
Making people CDs.
I'm selfish, I make them for me first. :(
he is a lovely guy (a gem! me? *blushes*)
i always keep a copy of the cd i make for the person on my computer, and i name it after them
Rule #1 of making mix tapes: Never place 2 songs from same artist on mixtape.
Bevis' grade: Fail minus
Sheriff, maybe you need better taste.
Jobe, even though I admitted at the outset to know very little about mixed CDs, believe it or not that was one 'rule' I knew.
But I was kinda being silly on purpose. The idea was, Little Faerie Girl was going to put it on, hear the opening theme to The Muppet Show, and smile to herself, thinking something along the lines of, "Of course, what else should I have been expecting?!" ... or perhaps "This guy is an idiot, why did I give him my postal address?" ... either way, it was meant to signify ME.
And then when every second or third song was ALSO a Muppet song (cheerful though most of them are), her anticipated response was MEANT to be that it made her smile (both at the Muppets and at my perfectly-transparent-and-even-a-
little-bit-TOO-childhood-reliving attempt to cheer her up.
So "suck eggs" to you, Jobe. :)
Meghan, I'm not that great - it was Little Faerie Girl's suggestion of what I could send her to swap for some Muppet books she is APPARENTLY going to send me sometime soon! :)
Little Faerie Girl, I'm just kidding. But thank you for those kind words.
Sheriff of Nothing, you never know. I would have thought my taste in music was too daggy and embarrassing and childish and 80s and comical and so on for anyone to SERIOUSLY like ... so we'll see what happens when Little Faerie Girl posts part two of her CD review.
Little Faerie Girl (again), post part two of her CD review!
:)
You should make me a mix CD without Muppet songs that I can review/pan.
Geesh, you've turned really nasty all of a sudden!
