Ronald Dumsfeld
Much has been said of Donald Rumsfeld’s resignation, but nothing said so far has been more apt and eloquent as this entry on Wikipedia.
We salute you, sir.
.
Why do you always come here? I guess we'll never know. It's like a kind of torture, To read this blog, y'know.
Welcome to the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, Muppetational blog since Kermit left just a little bit of the swamp in his pants.

From my unreliable memory, he appears fleetingly in that movie, The Fog of War. Great doco.
LOLOLOLOL, i'm surprised to see that it's still there. Bet they'll have to lock it down soon.
Chai, thanks for that; I'll have to check it out.
Ace (Treespotter? Is that you?), nice use of the 'bevix' name. :) The link used is the one in the Wikipedia archive. This page was only 'current' for a few minutes, but I happened to look up 'Donald Rumsfeld' while it was active, and found it a highly amusing (and completely immature, of course ... which is part of the appeal for me) piece of online vandalism.
The Fog of War is fantastic, one of the best documentaries ever.
I missed the Fog of War but the best documentary I have ever seen is by the same guy (Errol Morris): The Thin Blue Line. You can get it on DVD here in a multi-disk pack called the "The Errol Morris Collection." It's about a guy who found himself wrongly convicted for the murder of a policeman: watch the first ten minutes and its pretty much impossible to turn it off.
Sorry, I just never pass up a chance to point people to this movie, even if the connection is pretty tenuous.
Wah? It just says N****** .
I don't get it!
that's hillarious!
