Sheriff of Nothing, you intrigue me with this statement. On the one hand, it could be that you're kidding (or lying). On the other hand, you could be knitting it for your own child (or someone else's you know in real life). On the other hand, you may just be reporting facts that have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with me. On the other hand, you could be intimating that this hat-and-booties set is supposed to be for the baby Wifey is carrying. On the other hand, I could sound really selfish by assuming that you meant you're making me a gift. On the other hand, that's what it really sounds like you're saying. On the other hand, I could be coming across as a gulliable idiot. On the other hand, I could have run out of hands.
If it turns out you're serious, and you're knitting this little ensemble as a present for my as-yet-unborn-child, then that's so freakin' kind of you; thank you so much!!
If it turns out that that's not what you meant, then aren't I a fool.
