TAR 9 - Update To Come

I haven't watched TAR 9 for this week yet, but I've taped it and will get to it as soon as I can. Wifey and I are entertaining my parents for a few days (who are currently visiting from Sydney), and will be rid of them saying our good-byes to them on Saturday morning.

So at some point over the weekend - or maybe on Monday - I will get to my weekly TAR 9 review. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.

Until then, have an ace weekend, everyone.

A paragraph on your thoughts about the TBL eviction that we all saw coming would be nice when you have time.

Who's next?? It's anyone's game now...

It had to be sooner rather than later at this point in the game. Wal was too much of a threat to everyone else.

I wouldn't be surprised if Fiona ends up taking it out.

The girls are sticking together so maybe one of the boys is next?

I actually haven't seen this week's episodes of The Biggest Loser yet (they're all taped and we'll be watching them in one sitting tomorrow sometime), but pleeeeeeease don't feel bad for spoiling who got evicted on Monday.

:)

Nah, it's no drama at all; I'm just teasing you. As you said, Magical_M, it was obvious who was going to go, so it's no surprise there. Wifey and I both knew he was doomed from Friday's weigh-in.

I didn't bother to mention on my blog that we were yet to see the episodes "so please don't spoil them" (and the same goes for Neighbours, btw), because I knew it was a silly thing to ask of the world at large. I figured: If it gets spoilt, it gets spoilt. It honestly doesn't bother me (not with that show, anyway).

Wifey and I are having dinner out tonight with Mum & Dad and another couple (family friends), and then tomorrow morning they'll be catching their flight home.

Then it's back home and straight into watching tapes of five days' worth of Neighbours, The Biggest Loser, and my other shows that are waiting on tape, including (as mentioned), TAR 9.

I'm also going to catch up on Numb3rs, Smallville, Lost, The Simpsons and Futurama. It's crazy.

(What do you mean, "Get a life"??)

Elaine, I don't like Fiona (she's dumb and selfish/self-absorbed), and Ruth annoys me a lot (she's a wimp and a whinger). I really hope the final three are Adro, Kristie and Shane. And at this point, not having seen this week's episodes yet, I wouldn't mind which of them won, if it was one of those three. I'd be equally happy with any of them winning; although I admit that I have a soft spot for Shane because he's the underdog who is rarely interviewed or shown on screen, and I see a lot of myself in him (especially because no one else has befriended him in the house - oh, woe is me! - except for Fiona a bit, but only when she was forced to).

That said, if Kristie won it, I'd be rapt because a woman winner is overdue for this show, and she's the best female participant they've had in three seasons.

I said right at the beginning; if any woman could win it, Kristie's our girl.

Oops - didn't mean to spoil it for ya... sorry!

If its any consolation I have yet to see any episodes since Monday because of the play (and yes, I'm still alive but only just!). They're all on tape awaiting my attention (which won't happen until after I clean the house because the Mater is arriving on Wednesday and the place is a tip).

But I'll bet anything that Ruth was below the yellow line AGAIN this week.

She really shits me. No ticker. At least Fiona gives it a go and doesn't give up in the challenges.

My money's on Shane. Unless the final 4 ends up being Kristie, Adro, Ruth & Shane in which case he's got no chance. In which case my money's on Kristie. She's managed to gain my respect after a shaky start. And its about time a girl won.

I'm off to get a life too...

Sheriff of Nothing, we did, thank you. Mine aren't so bad (shh, they might be reading this!), but their stay was so fleeting on this occasion, that they hardly had a chance to be a pain.

NOT THAT THEY EVER ARE; THEY'RE LOVELY PEOPLE WHO BUY ME LOTS OF NICE THINGS WHEN I DON'T EXPECT IT ... LIKE NOW. I'M NOT EXPECTING IT NOW, OKAY?

Magical_M, like I said, no problem. I was just having fun with you. I presume you've caught up by now? I hope the scary actor turned up, did the show, and then left without confronting anyone or being a drama queen. Your 'bet' of Ruth being below the yellow line was a bit of a given, wasn't it? :)

Just thought I'd pop in and mention that I only just, only just this minute, got your subtitle.

My thinking thing hurts.

And now I've got the Muppet Show theme song buzzing around in it.

Quirkie, hehehe ... that's really funny. I can't believe it took you that long to get the reference, although I guess it's fair enough. Not everyone remembers the tune/words to The Muppet Show's theme song, and I can't expect you all to. I'm the freak here, not you guys.

You make me laugh, Quirks. :)
